A Pop-Up Writing Through Art Poetry Workshop at the Clark Art Institute's “A Room of Her Own: Women Artist-Activists in Britain, 1875–1945" exhibit

Join poet and educator Jan Freeman for this Pop-Up Writing Through Art Poetry Workshop at the Clark Art Institute’s A Room of Her Own: Women Artist-Activists in Britain, 1875–1945 exhibit. Together we will write drafts in the galleries, using these astonishing paintings as portals for creative expression.

New and experienced poets are invited to create new drafts and poems while experiencing the many ways that visual art opens inspiration, perception, memory, and language.

The morning workshop will take place at the Clark Art Institute, 225 South Street, Williamstown, MA. Cost $30 (museum admission not included; many area libraries offer free passes to the Clark).
