Join poet and educator Jan Freeman for this Pop-Up Writing Through Art Poetry Workshop at the Clark Art Institute’s Isamu Noguchi: Landscapes of Time exhibit. Together we will write drafts in the Noguchi gallery, using sculptures as portals for creative expression.
New and experienced poets are invited to create new drafts and poems while experiencing the many ways that visual art opens inspiration, perception, memory, and language.
The morning workshop will take place at the Clark Art Institute, 225 South Street, Williamstown, MA. Cost $30 (museum admission not included; many area libraries offer free passes to the Clark).
Bring a notebook and sharpened pencils (no pens are permitted in the museum galleries).
